Through this ezine and web site we have made several new friends who are motorhome enthusiasts. As we own GMC, and they are very rare in Australia, we have met one of our subscribers who also owns a GMC.

Rob is a retired engineer and self confessed GMC Nut, so he and my husband Mark get on like a house in fire. On our visit to Sydney we met up with Rob and his lovely wife Helen and stayed the night in the street near their house in Paddington. We were very close to Oxford Street and the Sydney Cricket Ground but had no trouble finding a place to park even with our tow vehicle attached.

After morning tea with Rob and Helen we ventured over to Rob's shed to check out his GMC. Mark and Rob could have chatted for days, but after several hours I had to drag him away so we could move onto our next scheduled stop.

Rob has now called our meeting the "First Unofficial GMC Rally" and plans on organising more rallies with other GMC's. There are apparently 12 GMC's in Australia so we look forward to the next "rally", whether it be official or unofficial and meeting all the other "GMC Nuts"
