I had an enquiry this month from a subscriber who was looking for the SKI club. SKI is an acronym for Spending the Kids Inheritance. Below is a letter from Aaron and Michelle to members about why you can not find them at the moment and to assure everyone they will be back on the web shortly. Dear Member,

Thank you for your perseverance and patience, I'm sure the gremlins that got into our website must have been the disgruntled children of $ki members!! What you are seeing at the moment is our new website in lock down mode for testing purposes. Unfortunately, our original website lost its server at the end of February before we had completed building a new site. We are almost ready to go live but there have been a number of issues we have been unhappy with and these have caused considerable delays.

As you know $ki Club Australia is an Internet Based Marketing business, dedicated to providing quality products and services to like-minded people with a sense of fun. A one-stop-shop for Baby Boomers! When our new website is up and running (hopefully within the next couple of weeks) we will be offering a number of different services to our members. We have spent the last couple of years working very hard behind the scenes to ensure that the Professional Service Providers we use are of the highest standard. On board already are Financial Planners, Insurance Providers, Mortgage Brokers, Stockbroking Services, Real Estate and Travel Agents. Future plans also include Health Professionals.

There are now two types of membership available:- Club Membership is a complimentary membership, offering 5% discount on purchases of $ki Club Tongue-in-Cheek merchandise. Club members can have their own web page within the site with restricted access to most areas of the website and limited benefits. Profile is required to be updated annually.

Gold Membership costs $89.00 for an Individual or $150.00 per couple Gold Membership includes a “Special Offer” Membership Kit comprising a Tongue-In-Cheek T- Shirt, Matching Cap and Bumper Sticker (rrp: $33.95AUD incl GST). Gold Card members receive 10% discount on $ki Club Australia merchandise, have access to all areas of the website and receive benefits and discounts unavailable to Club Card members. Gold members are able to have their own web page within the site and receive a listing in the Gold Members Only Small Business Directory. Gold membership is renewable annually.

As a Goodwill gesture to our existing members we will be transferring all of you to Gold Membership completely Free of Charge (without the “Special Offer Membership Kit”) for 12 months.

We have already put together itineraries for special hosted $ki Tours for 2007. Norfolk Island in March, New Zealand - May, Fiji -July and Vietnam in November. Full details will be available on the site.

We are encouraging all our members to work together to help us help them by talking to friends or family that may be involved in some way with businesses that would be willing to offer special deals or discounts to $ki Club members.

Members will need to be able to access the internet to keep up to date with events and special offers. Most members have their own computers but some use a family member to keep them up to date.
